Gorki Carmona

FMH Specialist in Internal and Geriatric Medicine

Dr Carmona specialises in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. Upon graduating in 1995, he spent two years at Hôpital de Porrentruy as an assistant doctor.

He then joined Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, where he worked in various units including surgery, orthopaedics and psychiatry. In 2004 he obtained his Swiss Medical Association specialisation in internal medicine.

From 2003 until 2011, Dr Carmona was registrar at the rehabilitation and geriatrics unit at Hôpital des Trois-Chênes.

In 2011 he joined Hôpital de Loëx as deputy physician of the palliative care and medical rehabilitation service at the medical rehabilitation unit.

In 2016 he qualified as a specialist in geriatric medicine.

In 2017 he was appointed deputy physician of the multimodal rehabilitation service at the palliative care and medical rehabilitation unit.

Dr Carmona also teaches medical students at Geneva University.

Dr Carmona joined Clinique Bois-Bougy as medical director in October 2020 and also present at the Clinique du Grand-Salève as an FMH Specialist in Internal and Geriatric Medicine.
